These are for the most part recipes we have made before, although we might throw in a few just because they look interesting and we want to try them later. Not all are vegetarian, but most could be..

- Bulgar with Mushrooms, Feta and Dill I didn't think ilan would ever touch the bulgar I had in the cupboard, but he actually said he like this!
- Yotam Ottolenghi's Tah Chin - haven't tried it yet but I hope to soon... the salad recipe looks tasty too!
- One-Pot Vegetarian Enchiladas - from the fabulous Manali
- Chicken Marbella - from the Whitewater Cookbook
- Mujadara - I reduced the cayenne to a little less than 1/4 tsp and it had just a hint of spiciness
- Chicken Leek Mushroom Pie
- Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage - I use this when I'm making Trader Joe's Farro dish
- Grilled Halibut with Cajun Rub
- Yogourt-Marinated Grilled Chicken - it's spicy - for the kids, I reduce the cayenne!

- Super Appley Muffins
- Oatmeal Molasses Batter Bread (and anything else from the bakingsheet blog!)
- Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies (I have modified this recipe slightly, but it's a great starting point)
- Hot Milk Cake (My favourite delicious speedy cake ever! I make it like my mom, with berries dropped into it and no icing. It's also good with a touch of almond extract.)
- Chocolate Cake
- Fougasse (herby bread to dip in balsamic and olive oil... mm)
- Gaufres de Liège: quick and easy version OR (I would say slightly better) long and complex version ...both are incredibly delicious!
- Challah
- No-Recipe Granola love this stuff, but even though it's not a step-by-step recipe, I like to refer to the instructions.
- Homemade Pita Bread - this is a favourite at our house
Snacks
- Tofu Jerky
- Smooth Hummous - I use half the tahini or less
